Joel usually discusses JoJo's many Parts with his chat while playing as a character originated from JoJo, as well as reference JoJokes - JoJo related memes. The series is one of Meme House's biggest influences (if anything, Meme House is a JoJo fan fiction in The Sims), with multiple characters originating from JoJo making appearances in the series. It became most popular from the ongoing 2012 David Productions anime adaptation.
It started publication on the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1987 and is still being published to this day, although in another magazine, Ultra Jump.
